Regular skin toning helps in the refreshing the skin apart from preventing it from wrinkle formation. It also cleanses the skin effectively. You need not spend any money on the commercial skin toners. These can be prepared at home with the ingredients available in the kitchen. Homemade skin toners do not cost you anything and are much effective than the commercial toners.
Few of the effective homemade skin toners are mentioned below.
Vinegar skin toner for your scalp:
- Add one tablespoon of malt vinegar to a glass of water.
- Also add a pinch of salt to it.
- Mix all of them and apply on the scalp.
- Massage in the circular directions while applying.
- Let it stay for 1-2 hours.
- Then, rinse it off with lukewarm water.
Herbal toning lotion:
- Add one tablespoon of lemon juice to two tablespoons of witch hazel.
- Also add few drops of rose water.
- Blend well and store it in a bottle.
- Your herbal toning lotion is ready for use.
- Apply on the face and the neck.
- Let it dry.
- Then, rinse it off with warm water.
- Use regular for better results.
Grapefruit skin toning lotion:
- Extract juice from 100 grams of fresh grapes.
- Add 250 grams of yoghurt to the grape juice.
- Blend both of them to make a fine paste.
- Place this paste in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- After refrigeration, add half teaspoon of sodium benzoate to the paste.
- Mix well and use.
- Your grapefruit skin toning lotion is ready.
- Apply on the face and the neck.
- Let it stay for 30 minutes.
- Then, rinse it off with warm water.
- Use regular for better results.
Watermelon toner:
- Squeeze the juice out of a slice of watermelon into a cup.
- Add another cup of distilled water to it.
- Also add half a cup of vodka to the above mixture.
- Mix all of them and apply on the face and the neck with the help of a cotton ball.
- Let it dry.
- Then, rinse it off with warm water.
- Apply regularly for better results.

Cucumber Toner:
- Slice half cucumber and half of a tomato.
- Add 1 cup of vodka to the sliced pieces.
- Now use a blender to blend all the ingredients into a smooth mixture.
- Apply on the face and the neck with the help of a cotton ball.
- Let it stay for 5 minutes.
- Then, rinse it off with warm water.
- Apply regularly for better results.

Simple green tea facial toner:
- Add 2 teaspoons of powdered green tea to 1/2 cup of boiling water.
- Simmer this mixture for 10 minutes.

- Apply regularly for better results
Lemony mint toner:
- Add 1 peppermint tea bag to a cup of boiling water.
- Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Then discard the tea bag.
- Add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and 1/4 cup of witch hazel after it gets cool down.
- Mix well and apply on the face and the neck with the help of a cotton ball.
- Let it dry.

Apple skin toner:
- Take 2/3 cup of witch hazel and add 1/3 cup of apple vinegar to it.
- Also add several drops of lavender essential oil to it.

- Apply regularly for better results.
