Homemade Nourishing Creams

Nourishment creams help in providing the required nourishment to the skin. These creams contain all the necessary vitamins, hormones, serum ampoules, anti wrinkle components, etc that help in maintaining the skin in a good condition.

Homemade nourishing creams are more effective than the ones that are available in the market. So, you need not spend any extra money on the expensive nourishing creams that are available in the market. These homemade nourishing creams can be prepared with the help of the ingredients that are available in the kitchen. Few of the effective recipes of homemade nourishing creams are mentioned below.

Glycerin nourishing cream:

  • Mix two tablespoons of glycerin with two tablespoons of lemon juice.
  • This mixture must be applied daily before going to the bed.
  • This cream provided all the nourishment needed by the skin.

Cucumber nourishing cream:

  • This cream provided good nourishment for all the skin types.
  • Add four teaspoons of cucumber juice to twenty five ml of distilled water.
  • Also add one teaspoon of tincture of benzoin to it.
  • Blend all of them to make a paste.
  • Refrigerate this paste for about five to six hours before use.
  • Apply it on the face and the neck.
  • Let it stay for twenty minutes.
  • Then, rinse it off with lukewarm water.

Olive nourishing cream :

  • Beat the yolk of two eggs in a bowl.
  • Add two tablespoons of olive oil to it.
  • Also add one teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of tincture of benzoin to it.
  • Mix all of them to make a paste and apply on the face and the neck.
  • Let it stay for sometime.
  • Then, rinse it off with water.
  • Its acts as nourishment for the dry skin.

Almond nourishing cream:

  • Add two tablespoons of sweet almond meal to hundred grams of yogurt.
  • Blend both of them with the help of a blender to make a paste.
  • Apply this paste on the face and the neck.
  • Let if stay for an hour.
  • Then, wash it off with lukewarm water.
  • Acts as good nourishment for the dry skin.

Marigold nourishing cream:

  • Cover five hundred grams of marigold flowers with five hundred ml of spirit of wine in a large glass jar.
  • Dry this under the sun for a week. Take essence
  • Make sure to shake the jar daily.
  • Then, melt five hundred grams of vegetable lard on a low flame. Make sure to stir continuously.
  • Add this melted vegetable lard to the essence of the dried marigold flowers.
  • Also add one teaspoon of tincture of benzoin to it. This increases the shelf life of the cream.
  • Mix well and store it in a jar after it gets cooled.
  • Apply daily for good results.
  • Acts as good nourishment for the oily skin.

Oatmeal nourishing cream:

  • Beat the yolk of two eggs in a bowl.
  • Add one cup of oatmeal to it.
  • Also add one tablespoon of honey, half teaspoon of tincture of benzoin, one tablespoon of lemon juice and one cup of lanolin to it.
  • Blend all of them with the help of a blender to make a paste.
  • Apply this paste on face, neck and forehead. Slightly massage in circular motions while applying.
  • Let it stay for 10 – 15 minutes.
  • Then, rinse it off with lukewarm water.
  • Acts as good nourishment for the dry skin.

Cocoa Butter Cream:

  • Melt 2 tablespoons of cocoa butter, 2 tablespoons of emulsifying wax, 1 tablespoon of beeswax, 4 tablespoons of sesame oil and 1 tablespoon of almond oil on a low flame. Make sure to stir continuously. You can also use a water bath to melt them.
  • While stirring add a few drops of your favorite perfume.
  • Cool it down and store it in a jar.
  • Acts as good nourishment for all skin types.

Elder Flower Cream:

  • Add 3 tablespoons of almond oil to 4 tablespoons of elder flower blossoms in a bowl.
  • Also add I tablespoon lanolin to them.
  • Place this mixture on a low flame for an hour.
  • You can also use a water bath instead.
  • Now strain the contents and slowly add warm water to it.
  • Mix well to make a cream.
  • Acts as good nourishment for all skin types.
