Just a bit of proper rest and eyes are ready to look out for you. Eyes enhance all our expressions. How many times have you praised someone with smiling eyes or with eyes that talk? Your eyes are the most exciting and expressive feature that you have and bringing out these features is something you can achieve with eye make-up. Regardless of their color, eyes, just express your inner self. Your most powerful expression of joy or sorrow in form of tears is brought about through eyes.

When we talk about make-up, eyes occupy as much thought space as complete face. Emphasizing them with make up is extremely important. No make-up is complete without eye make-up. A complete eye make-up with mascara, eyeliner and eye shadow works wonders in enhancing the overall personality. Even if simple in application, when applied correctly, it works like a charm to uplift entire outlook of your face. Color of your eyes gives you immense freedom to experiment with kind of make up you want to wear. Seductive eyes with flattering eye lashes or deep-set eyes with well-defined eyebrows, there are various combinations that you can use to beautifully enhance your eyes.

Eye Make and Various Eye Types

Shape of your eyes is something you are born with. It can’t be physically altered. But if you feel like changing appearance of your eyes, eye make up is a veritable solution. It will improve your eyes beauty. Follow these simple tips and you can achieve desired results sitting in comfort of your home.

Small Eyes:

First thing you need to do is increase surface area. This is achieved by plucking your brows finely. Choose correct color of shadow and blend it in upper eyelid. For complete effect, it is essential to use shadow in area below lower lid as well. Blending action must start from centre of eyelid moving outwards and upwards towards the brow. Create an outer boundary for both lids and blend it in. Boundary should be of size you want your eyes to be. Follow this up with two coats of mascara each on both upper and lower lashes.

Close-Set Eyes:

Solution for close-set eyes lies in shaping of eyebrows and drawing boundaries of eyes with eyeliner. Brows have to be plucked so that they appear nicely separated. Follow this up with eye shadow on outer half of upper eyelids meeting the eyebrows. Next, starting from a point away from inner corner of eyes, use eyeliner to shape your eyes to make them look equal distance apart from Nose Bridge . Ensure that size of eyes doesn’t increase dramatically. Size and distance should be proportionate.

Wide-Set Eyes:

Trick lies in making eyes appear closer to each other than they actually are. Start with bridging the gap between eyebrows with a pencil. This gap should be equal to one eye width. Shadow application will start from bridge of nose and finish halfway to upper eyelid. Now create an outline starting from inner corner of eye closer to nose ridge. Take this outline towards outer edge of eye, but stop well before reaching outer edge.

Deep-Set Eyes:

Simple thing to remember is you have to achieve an effect opposite to what you already possess. Trick lies in leaving the eyelid untouched and using a dark eye shadow under eyebrow. Eyeliner should be used only on lower lid extending out and up. Illusion achieved will be of large expressive eyes.

Round Eyes:

Offset the roundness with angular eyebrows. Use shadow from centre of upper lid moving towards outer edge and finish a little beyond the outer corner. Line the upper lids, starting from the inner corner and extend it out and up so as to suggest length.

Hooded eyes:

Hooded eyes look heavy and these can be corrected by using light colors on lids. Using a darker shade, blend it with lighter color and work towards outer corner.

With these simple yet effective methods, you can achieve desired results without venturing out of your home. Doing it yourself will also give you the pleasure that you are in charge of how you look.
